EHS Statement

Guests who are on-site for a Factory Tour should be accounted for in case of an emergency or evacuation.

Procedure

Please follow the procedure below:

The intended visitor has to complete a Visitor Entry Form (Form-140). This form is to be completed 2 weeks prior to required Factory Tour date.

Upon receipt of the above Form, confirmation will be sent to originator of request advising all relevant details such as date and time of tour, tour guide(s), name(s), meeting location, etc.

The Host is advised to contact Security Office with the list of visitors in advance so that Factory Passes can be issued in a timely fashion.

Advise concerned Managers to gain permission and have possible input on current Production Schedules and advice of possible assistance should this be required.

Advise Receptionist, preferably a day earlier and provide a list of visitor’s names and the expected destination, so that visitors can be directed to the correct location. Advise Receptionist where the host may be found at the time of the visit and if the host will be carrying a portable phone.

Advise of Garments requirements and arrange assistance for either gender to be instructed in gowning up by Sydco staff. (See SOP MAN-005).

Note: As a GMP policy make-up, nail polish or jewellery is not allowed inside the factory.  Therefore, please advise your guests PRIOR to arriving on site.  Appropriate make-up removal wipes and nail polish remover will be provided inside the Visitors change room and gloves for those wearing a wedding ring.

It is recommended that female visitors be informed to wear tailored pants on the day of a Factory Tour, as pants are more comfortable to wear underneath factory overalls.
